The rule in mineral makeup is "the smaller the brush the heavier the application", so your kabuki is for general all over coverage where the mini kabuki is going to pack a punch in covering those smaller areas... concentrating the minerals into a smaller, targeted area. Has a longer handle for ease of application and is velvety soft (did I mention velvety soft!seriously!)- perfect for under the eyes, covering enlarged pores and getting around the nose and chin. We can't live without this brush and once you have it you won't know how you did either!
